Extended Area Pleated Filters
The Airex PM-SC MERV 10 pleated filters are available in a wide range of sizes for all commercial, industrial and residential applications. The filter media is a 100% synthetic, electrostatically charged, designed to attract and hold airborne contaminants. The result is a higher efficient filter, 65-70% @ 5-10 micron. Initial resistance of a 2 inch deep filter is .26 W.G. @ 500 FPM. The enclosing frame of the PM-SC is constructed of a rigid, heavy duty moisture resistant beverage board. The support members are an integral part of the frame and are bonded to each pleat on both sides to insure pleat spacing and stability. The filter pack is bonded to the inside periphery of the frame, thus eliminating the possibility of air bypass. The media support grid is available in a heavy expanded wire with an effective open area of not less than 93%. The wire grid is bonded to the filter media to eliminate the possibility of media oscillation and media pull away. UL Approved 217V as to flammability class 2 UL900.

82-R MERV 11
Ultra Efficient Standard Capacity
The Airex 82-R MERV 11 are available in a wide range of sizes for all commercial, industrial and residential applications. The filter media is a 100% synthetic, electrostatically charged media, designed to attract and hold airborne contaminants. This results in a higher efficient filter , 80-85 @ 5 micron and over 90% @ 10 micron without sacrificing airflow. Initial resistance of a 2” deep filter is just .30” w.g. @ 500 FPM. Super Capacity Pleated Air Filters
The Airex GP100-MERV 13 super capacity pleated filters are available in a wide range of sizes for all commercial, industrial and residential applications. The filter media is a 100% synthetic, electrostatically charged media, designed to attract and hold airborne contaminants. This results in a higher efficient filter meeting LEED green building criteria for minimum efficiency. Initial resistance of a 2” deep filter is just .35” W.G. @ 500 FPM with an average dust spot efficiency of over 75% based on the ASHRAE 52.2 test standard. The enclosing frame of the GP100 is constructed of a rigid, heavy duty moisture resistant beverage board. The support members are an integral part of the frame and are bonded to each pleat on both sides to insure pleat spacing and stability. High Velocity PM MERV 10
Standard Capacity Pleated Air Filters
The Airex HVPM MERV 10 standard capacity pleated filters are available in a wide range of sizes for all commercial and industrial applications. The difference between our regular pleated filter and a high velocity pleated filter is the thicker gauge wire backing used to support the HVPM. The expanded wire used to support our HVPM is 8 times heavier than the wire that is used on our regular standard pleated filters. The HVPM is designed to operate in higher velocity systems when turbulent air and moisture may also be a factor. The filter media is a 100% synthetic, electrostatically charged, thermally bonded, hydrophobic (moisture repelling), designed to attract and hold airborne contaminants. This results in a higher efficient filter, 70% @ 3-10 micron, without sacrificing airflow. Initial resistance of a 2” deep filter is just .28” w.g. @ 500 FPM. The enclosing frame of the HVPM is constructed of a rigid, heavy duty moisture resistant beverage board. The support members are an integral part of the frame and are bonded to each pleat on both sides to insure pleat spacing and stability. The filter pack is bonded to the inside periphery of the frame, thus eliminating the possibility of air bypass. AB Air Bear MERV 11
Replacement Cartridge Air Filters
The Airex AB-11 Air Bear cartridge filters are designed for use with the Trion (Air Bear) air cleaner systems. Simply install the AB-11 in place of the Trion cartridge. No alterations or equipment modifications are required. The filter media is a 100% synthetic, electrostatically charged MERV 11 media, designed to attract and hold airborne contaminants. This results is a higher efficient filter , 80-85% @ 5 micron, without sacrificing airflow. Initial resistance of a 5” deep filter is just .16” w.g. @ 300 FPM. The enclosing frame of the AB-11 is constructed of a rigid, heavy duty moisture resistant beverage board. The support members with fingers are an integral part of the frame and are bonded to each pleat on both sides to insure pleat spacing and stability. The filter pack is bonded to the inside periphery of the frame, thus eliminating the possibility of air bypass. Gaskets have been added for a tight seal into any housing. The media support grid is a heavy expanded wire with an effective open area of not less than 93%. Polyester
Panel Filters
Airex polyester filters are manufactured using the highest quality materials available. The filter media consists of Polyester Synthetic Fibers (PSF) dry or tackified produced from 100% high bulk polyester fibers that are thermo bonded with a fire retardant resin. PSF makes an excellent pre-filter for expensive high efficiency and absolute filters. It is extremely resilient and will withstand direct moisture. PSF is an ideal alternative in areas where spun glass is not recommended. The filter media can be treated with an anti-microbial agent when required then enclosed in a heavy duty moisture resistant Kraft board frame, and is available with or without front and back #28 Gage metal retainers securely fastened to the frame to increase overall rigidity of the filter. Beaded hot melt adhesive bonds the entire perimeter of each frame securing the media in the frame when metal is not used. The outer frame indicates size, airflow direction, and the filter’s UL Class 2 rating. UL Approved as to flammability 217V Class 2 UL900

Polystrand Fiberglass
Panel Filters
The NEW Airex Polystrand standard size filters are manufactured using a fiberglass media that has been totally encapsulated in Polyb- and exclusive technology that results in an economical, high loft filtration media that is gentle, soft and safe. Polystrand fibers are safer than typical glass and nonrespirable, meaning that they cannot make their way into small airways of the lower respiratory tract. Polystrand is a continuous strand measuring more than 3.5 microns, making the fibers unrespirable. By encapsulating the fiber we have all but eliminated fiber dusting. The combination of the fiberglass and Polyb allow the filter to reach MERV 5-6 in efficiency. The fibers are loosely spun on the air entering side and progressively woven tighter on the air existing side creating a heavy laminated backing. This design increases dust holding capacity and eliminates the problem of surface loading while adding strength to the filter when the metal backing is eliminated. Our new gluing process eliminates the use of metal retainers on both the front and back side of the filter which can cause added resistance. The filter media is enclosed in a heavy duty moisture resistant white Kraft board frame. UL Approved as to flammability 217V Class 2 UL900.

MERV 8 Polyester Anti-Microbial
Panel Filters
The Airex OR1 AM MERV 8 polyester filters are manufactured using the highest quality materials available. The orange filter media consists of a 100% tackified polyester fiber that has been thermo bonded with fire retardant resin. The tackifier is added to enhance the overall efficiency of the media allowing it to reach a MERV 8 rating. An anti microbial agent has been added to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. The design of the filter increases dust holding capacity and eliminates the problem of smaller particles working there way through the back side of the material. Our new gluing process eliminates the use of metal retainers on the front and back side of the filter which can cause added resistance. The use of metal retainers has been known to cause injury to service personal handling the product. Each fiber is treated with a non-odorous, non-migrating adhesive which helps hold dust within the filter, and allows viscous impingement filtration to occur. The filter media is enclosed in a heavy duty moisture resistant Kraft board frame. The outer frame indicates size, airflow direction, and the filter’s UL Class 2 rating. UL Approved as to flammability 217V Class 2 UL900.

Polyester
Ring Panel Filters
The Airex PRP Polyester Ring Panel Filters are available in a wide range of sizes, one or two inch thickness' and dual or three ply material. The PRP filter is heat sealed on all four sides over a steel wire ring for added support, eliminating the need for an outer frame and increasing the surface area. The PRP filter has superior dust holding capacity and efficiency. A generous overlap of media outside the wire ring insures a self gasketing fit. There are several media combinations available that can increase performance of the filter including, but not limited to, dry media, tackified media and antimicrobial media. Polyester Ring Panel filters can be linked together to help in the ease of installation. A link can be two or more panels together allowing almost any size filter to be constructed. A Master Link is 24 panels of the same size linked together as one. Smaller linked panels can be cut from a master when multiple sizes are needed.
