Polyester
Pads & Rolls

Airex polyester pads are manufactured using the highest quality materials available. The filter media consists of Polyester Synthetic Fibers (PSF) produced from 100% high bulk polyester fibers that are thermo bonded with a fire-retardant resin. PSF makes an excellent pre-filter for expensive high efficiency and absolute filters; It is extremely resilient and will withstand direct moisture. PSF is an ideal alternative in areas where spun glass is not recommended. PSF is available in rolls, cut pads, or framed in 1/2 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch thickness' with or without tackifier. Also available is a dustlock media which is 1 1/2 inch thick and super tackified for extra efficiency. All PSF media is available with an optional antimicrobial agent applied to prevent the growth of bacteria.

Fiberglass
Pads & Rolls

Airex fiberglass pads are manufactured using the highest quality materials available. The filter media consists of fine threads of glass which are loosely spun on the air entering side and progressively woven tighter on the air exiting side. This design increases dust holding capacity and eliminates the problem of surface loading. Each fiber is treated with a non-odorous, non-migrating adhesive which helps hold dust within the filter, and allows viscous impingement filtration to occur. Airex fiberglass is available in 1/2 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch thickness in cut pads, rolls, or framed.

Automatic
Roll Filters

Airex automatic roll filters are designed for use in primary roll filter machines. These machines are self renewing, offering a new and clean section of air filter media either manually or automatically. The auto roll comes wound on spools or cores ready for installation. Each autoroll contains 65 linear feet of filtering media. There are several different types of media available including: Scrim-back spun glass, Skin-back spun glass, economy spun glass, polyester and treated polyester. The Airex auto roll can be used to replace any existing auto roll without modification or adapters.

reusable material with a variety of industrial air filtration and evaporative cooling applications. By trapping more dirt and allowing free air flow, the Airex Natural Hog's Hair Media adds to the life of your equipment and allows your system to run efficiently. Hog Hair: Filter media made with natural fiber spun into a high loft, depth loading fiber maze. The fibers are fully bonded together and firmly locked upon a rigid scrim net backing using a special binder. You can cut the Hog's Hair Media into Cut-To-Fit Filter Pads with heavy shears or a razor knife to create almost any size air filter for furnace and central air systems. This media is plyable, yet rigid and needs no frame for support. Just cut and install. It can be washed and reused several times before needing replacement. It is the ideal replacement for hard to find or special filter sizes.

Polyester
Sleeves

The Airex slip on sleeve is manufactured using only the highest quality needled polyester media available today. Needled polyester is material that may start as 6 to 10 ounce lay-on-polyester, which is then needled to a dense mat approximately 1/8 inch thick. The sleeve filter was designed to replace the less efficient 1/2 and 1 inch fiberglass type filters. Needled polyester can be used in many applications that may call for a thinner or more efficient filter. Carbon can be used on one or both sides of the filter, a perfect solution for cigarette smoke or other odors. This material is also available in rolls which can be cut into individual sleeves to fit any size unit. The sleeve is pulled over the existing wire frame to make a supported univent filter. If the wire frame it not available we can supply these as well. When ordering a sleeve always give us the size of the wire frame. All sleeves are stitched closed on three sides leaving one opening for the wire to slide into.
