Airex EZ Kleen metal filters are available in all aluminum 1/2 inch, 1 inch or 2 inch thickness' in all standard sizes as well as a variety of custom made sizes. Airex EZ Kleen metal filters are lightweight, durable, washable, and easy to clean. Simply flush with warm water or steam. Airex EZ Kleen metal filters are constructed with layers of woven aluminum mesh secured by a sturdy aluminum frame. For use in light grease applications (range hoods) as well as ceiling vent fans, air conditioners, HVAC system or univents. When used in a univent system a filter spray can be added to increase the efficiency. The EZ filter is also available in a round flat filter in a number of common sizes. Not recommended in a high volume air system

MDM Perm-A-Steel
Metal Permanent Filters
Airex MDM permanent metal filters are available in 1/2 inch, 1 inch or 2 inch thickness' in all standard sizes, as well as a variety of custom sizes. They are manufactured using a heavy galvanized steel frame. Airex MDM metal filters are lightweight, durable, washable, and easy to clean: Simply flush with warm water or steam. Drain holes are provided to remove excess water. Airex MDM metal filters are constructed with multi layers of pleated galvanized screening secured in a U channel galvanized frame. The galvanized construction will hold up better in many applications where the CFM rating is high. This filter is also available in all aluminum (HDA). All standard size filters are cut 1/2 inch under on the length and width and 1/8 inch under on the thickness.

The heavy aluminum construction will hold up better in many applications where the CFM rating is high. This filter is also available in all galvanized (MDM). All standard size filters are cut 1/2 inch under on the length and width and 1/8 inch under on the thickness.

Grease & Baffle
Metal Permanent Filters
The Airex Grease & Fire Baffle filter is manufactured with heavy 24 gauge galvanizes steel through out, including the baffles themselves. Two layers of baffles are carefully aligned to eliminate the direct passage of flame and grease through the filters. The heavy gauge makes all the difference when it comes to a superior baffle filter. Secured in place, the baffle pad will not shift or bend when being handled. Because of the extra weight, the filter won’t vibrate when installed. The baffles are constructed from 24 gauge galvanized steel, roll formed in a unique pattern that allows the grease to easily drain as well as gives the filter extra strength. The pad is framed in a heavy galvanized steel frame, riveted on one side giving the filter the extra strength needed. Many hours of designing and testing has gone into the Airex Grease & Fire Baffle filter. Designed with the hood cleaning service companies in mind, these filters are made to hold up through numerous cleanings.

EAF Electrostatic
Permanent Filters
The Airex EAF Self-Charging Electrostatic Air Filters combine high efficiency, low pressure drop, maximum resistance and large dust holding capacity in an easy to care for permanent filter. EAF filters are available in a 1 inch or 2 inch .040 aluminum frame, available in all standard sizes, as well as a variety of custom sizes. As air flows through the unique design of the five stage media, electrostatic action occurs, holding and containing particles of dirt in our specially designed storage chamber where they are trapped between the pre-filters on the upstream side and the final filters on the downstream side. Between the two layers of media is a layer of corrugated aluminum for added support and strength. The media is supported on both sides with flat 1/4”x1/2” .036 expanded aluminum. EAF filters are lightweight, durable, washable, and easy to clean. Simply flush with water, shake dry, and place back in service. There is no foam or fillers used that could break down and shorten the life of the filter. This high quality filter will last for years in most applications when cleaned properly.

Metal Frame
Foam Filters
The Airex AMD-FM type filters are manufactured using the highest quality material available today. The U channel frame is a .024 gauge aluminum available in thicknesses of .375 , .875 and 1.75 to accommodate almost any existing filter rack system. The backing material is a flat aluminum expanded material, diamond shaped, 1.50 # .081.060 thickness. The diamond shape opening is 1.0625 x 2.625, leaving an open filtering area of approximately 75%. The filtering media is a 20 PPI gray/black foam, ¼ inch thick, which is securely inserted into the U channel frame. The foam filtering media is rated MERV 4 and designed for use in lower velocity systems such as computers and component parts requiring air movement for cooling.

Metal Filter
Holding Frames
Airex FL-4 16 ga. metal filter frames are used to construct built up filter banks for holding ashrae type filters. The FL-4 frames will accommodate any filter from a pre pleat or metal to a bag or rigid type. The standard frame is normally 3 deep and also available in 2,4 and 6 inch depths. Actual depth is 1/8 under nominal size. They are designed to be bolted together then secured to an existing frame or wall to make a multiple filter rack to hold any number of filters. When we add the filter grid to the frame, a paint arrestor type pad can be installed and supported by the grid. Prior to assembly all sides should be caulked with a non-hardening compound to prevent air bypass. Filter banks with three frames or higher should be strengthened with 3 inch wide 16 ga. stiffeners between each vertical row.
Metal Pad
Holding Frames
Airex permanent metal pad holding frames are available in 1/2 inch, 1 inch or 2 inch thickness' in all standard sizes, as well as a variety of custom sizes. The 1 and 2 inch thick frames are available with doors, the 1/2 inch thick frames are available with or without a cross piece in place of a door. With the Airex pad holding frame, you have the option of using a number of different materials depending on your needs- (fiberglass, polyester, carbon, foam, paper or pleat ). Simply open the hinged frame door, remove the dirty pad, and replace it with a new one. Disposal of the used filter pad is much more cost effective than a full framed filter. Performance data will differ depending on which filtering material is used.
