Econocell-II
Mini-Pleat Filters

The Airex Econocell-II filter is fabricated using a rugged moisture resistant bonded frame with diagonal supports for maximum strength. The pleated media filter packs are made of water-laid micro fiber fiberglass or polyester media with a water-repellent binder which is bonded to the frame with a cured liquid sealant. Aluminum separators have been eliminated and replaced with the dimple pleat for maximum filtering material in an 4 inch depth. This design allow us to put additional square footage of material in each filter for the lowest pressure drop possible in this type of filter. The 4 inch depth allows this filter to be used in many existing filter housings. The result is a better flow rate, less shipping costs, lighter weight easy to handle, and less disposal costs. Available in 60-65% MERV 11, 80-85% MERV 13, and 90-95% MERV 15 efficiencies. The standard 4 inch Econocell II is designed to operate in temperatures up to 200 degrees F intermittent, 150 degrees F continuous. A higher temperature version of the Econocell II is available in a metal frame designed to operate in temperatures up to 750 degrees F continuous. This filter is rated UL 900 Class 2 for low fire insurance rating.

420 & 440
Polyester Cube Filters

The Airex 420 polyester cube is a tackified two ply material and the Airex 440 polyester cube is a three ply tackified material. Both are available in a variety of standard common sizes 15" deep. The 420 cube has a MERV rating of 6 and the 440 cube has a MERV rating of 8. The dual pocket design gives each filter a greater filtering surface to capture more dirt and dust. The polyester material is attached to an 1/8 inch wire galvanized steel header frame with a center support rod for added support. Each filter has an open area of not less than 95% with a very low initial pressure. The pockets are designed to allow full inflation while maintaining adequate air to flow freely. Each pocket is heat sealed and then stitched around the wire ring or frame. When installed into any system a side by side gasket like seal is created. A 13/16 inch header can be added when needed for certain tracking systems. The Poly Cube filter works great in areas where moisture is a problem.

Enviropak
Enviro-Pak
Bag Pocket Filters

The Airex Enviro-Pak bag filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. Enviro-Pak bags are available in a variety of standard and odd sizes in four different efficiencies: 45-50%, 60-65%, 80-85%, and 90-95% with a MERV rating of 10 to 14. Each filter pocket is attached to a 26 gauge galvanized steel frame that is in turn inserted and locked into a 24 gauge galvanized steel double turned header. This rugged assembly prevents warping and provides an open filtering area of not less than 90%. Each pocket is designed to allow full inflation while maintaining adequate air exit space between adjacent pockets. Each pocket is divided into channels by “span-link” stitching which gives the pocket its unique configuration. The Enviro-Pak bag filter is available in either synthetic (recommended) or micro-glass media. The following test data is based on glass media and when replaced with synthetic (P) media, the initial resistance (W.G) is approximately ten percent less than the glass fiber bag on average. For areas where moisture is a concern we recommend a polyester media always be used.

AirPack
Air-Pak
Rigid Box Filters

The Airex Air-Pak filter is available in four different efficiencies 45-55% (MERV 10), 60-65% (MERV 11), 80-85% (MERV 13), and 90-95% (MERV 15). The MERV rating varies depending upon the materials used. The performance of the Air-Pak filter is not affected by changes in air velocity or fan shutdowns which makes it ideal for variable air volume systems. The 26 gauge galvanized steel enclosing frame and perimeter support on the header style filter make the Air-Pak the strongest filter of its type. The media is thoroughly bonded to the enclosing frame providing extra strength to the media pack and eliminating the possibility of air bypass. Waterproof plastic or metal pleat separators can be used to control spacing and prevent the pleated rows from collapsing. When a higher velocity filter is required we replace the cross sectional piece on the front and back of the filter with a 2x2 heavy welded wire grate. This gives added support in higher velocity systems where a GT filter may be used. CFM rating on GT Airpak 500-625 FPM. UL 900 approved class 2.

Rigid Box Filters

The Airex Econocell filter is fabricated using a 26 gauge galvanized steel frame with single or double solid galvanized steel headers for maximum strength. The pleated media filter packs are made of water-resistant, all glass microfiber or polyester media bonded to the frame with a cured liquid sealant. Hemmed and corrugated aluminum separators maintain even pleat spacing and prevent the pleats from collapsing. Available in 60-65% MERV 11, 80-85% MERV 13, and 90-95% MERV 15 efficiencies. The standard Econocell is designed to operate in temperatures up to 200 degrees F intermittent, 150 degrees Fº continuous. A high temperature version of the Econocell is also available designed to operate in temperatures from 750 up to 900 degrees Fº continuous. Faceguards are also available for the high velocity turbine designed filters. Easy installation into existing filter housing side access or front loading systems. This filter is rated UL Class 1 for low fire insurance rating.

Quad
Superflow Quad V-Bank
Rigid Cartridge Filters

The Airex Superflow-Quad uses minipleat technology typically found in HEPA and ULPA filters to produce a high efficient, low resistant filter with up to 120 square feet of media. Lower resistance means lower energy demand, longer service life, and lower maintenance costs. The Superflow- Quad can handle up to 500 FPM, which makes it the perfect solution when the need for high efficiency and low resistance meet high airflow requirements and space constraints. The Quad has less media than the Superflow V to make it cost effective for applications where the Superflow V is not needed. The filter frame is made of a fire retardant ABS plastic with vertical supports to provide a lightweight filter. Service personal prefer the SFVQ over many of the other cell filters because of its lightweight and ease of transporting and installing. The Superflow-Quad is available in 65% and 95% ASHRAE efficiencies and has a UL 900 class 2 listing.

The Airex Superflow-V filter uses minipleat technology typically found in HEPA and ULPA filters to produce a high efficient, low resistant filter with up to 220 square feet of media. Lower resistance means lower energy demand, longer service life, and lower maintenance costs. The Superflow-V can handle up to 750 FPM, which makes it the perfect solution when the need for high efficiency and low resistance meet high airflow requirements and space constraints. The Superflow filters are constructed of multiple mini pleat panels bonded to flame-retardant plastic panels on top and bottom to make a very strong assembly that is both corrosion and moisture resistant. Aerodynamic extruded vertical supports minimize air turbulence. The Superflow-V is available in 65%, 85%, 95% and 98% ASHRAE efficiencies and 95% DOP. MERV 12-15. Operating limits: 160 degrees F and 100% RH continuous duty. Filters are UL 900 listed.

High Velocity Low Airflow Resistance HEPA Filter

The Airex Filter SuperFlow 24 is a V-bed HEPA filter (99.99% at 0.30 micrometer) specifically designed for high airflow applications requiring HEPA efficiency at an ultra low-pressure drop. The Super-Flow 24 can be incorporated into systems with air velocities of 600 fpm and a pressure drop of 1° w.g.

The SuperFlow 24 filters are manufactured with wet laid microfine fiberglass media. The media is formed into a mini-pleat utilizing a hot melt separator and arranged in a V-bed configuration. There are twelve individual mini-pleat packs sealed on all four sides to the frame with two-component polyurethane. The frame is constructed of galvanneal, aluminum, or stainless steel and consists of vertical support struts of the same material. Vertical supports are attached to the frame body without the use of mechanical fasteners. The vertical supports act as the sealing surface of the mini-pleat packs.
